Liking group fitness classes

For a while, I tried working out with various videos.

I liked having someone else provide direction and keep me motivated.

I’d choose from cardio workouts, strength training, ab and leg workouts. Most of these videos weren’t all that difficult or demanding. I eventually realized I was wasting my time. I needed something more demanding to make improvements to my health, weight and overall fitness level. I checked out the various gyms in my local area and chose the one that offers the widest range of group classes. The membership fees aren’t overly high, and I have 24/7 access to a broad selection of machines and equipment. The group fitness classes are offered every single day of the week and at all different times. I’m able to sign up for spin, yoga, pilates, zumba, bootcamp and more. The classes are led by certified fitness professionals who push me to a whole new level. I’ve met some really great people, gotten to try new ways to workout and seen a noticeable improvement in my stamina, strength and flexibility. Sampling the different classes keeps me interested and holds me accountable. Most of them last for about an hour, so I can take a class before I head to work in the morning. Because of starting my day with rigorous physical activity, I’m more productive, energized and in a better mood. I’m excited because next month the gym is adding a class called Pure Barre. It is a total body workout centered around low-impact, high intensity movements that are supposed to tone muscles and increase strength, flexibility and agility.
