Working to save big on the energy expenses

This was a welcome addition to our savings account

It has been a terrible year with nothing but frustration as well as change in our residence. This is easily a section of the effect the pandemic has had on everybody’s lives. I don’t want to be making complaints too loudly given that the two of us have been able to remain perfectly healthy. And that is something that the two of us are most definitely grateful for. Of course, the two of us have been adopting numerous pandemic protocols to be positive that we remain healthy. And that if we happen to be asymptomatic, the two of us aren’t actually spreading the virus. That said, the two of us have suffered economically this year. I have had to do work from the comfort of the Heating as well as A/C at my own property. This has allowed me to continue earning my salary. This is actually something I’m thankful to be able to carry on doing. However, I haven’t been able to receive any of the bonus structure as well as that counts for approximately 20 percent of my annual income. Then there is my wife, she sadly lost her task as her supplier laid her off as well as later closed down the whole business. She has found online gigs here and there to receive some money however it’s not even half of what she was making. So the two of us have had to cut back a huge amount as well as be severely careful about our spending limits. But there have been some good things for us. Last summer, the two of us totally focused on the Heating as well as A/C utility expenses. With various proactive steps as well as committed discipline regarding the temperature control device setting, the two of us saved more than 20 percent on Heating as well as A/C utility costs. That was a fantastic amount of savings. We saved hundreds over the course of the warmer months. This was a welcome addition to our savings account. Hopefully, this year will see us get back on track way better.
