My parents were a little bit annoyed, but they always appreciated a nice prank.
I had a pretty fun March Fools morning. My prank was particularly straight-forward and it worked to my satisfaction. I truly saved some batteries that were almost dead. In the early morning, I changed the relatively modern batteries to the batteries I had that were practically dead. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system was working nice with the air conditioner system working until about noon. Suddenly, the home was becoming warm and my parents had no system what was going on. My mother kept talking about calling up the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier while my father kept looking at the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, then he checked everything. I couldn’t keep the prank going for too long or I knew I was going to get into some real trouble. I finally said “March Fools!” I showed them the batteries and showed them the batteries died in the thermostat. My father said he knew that he had just changed the batteries to the thermostat so he thought there was no way that was the problem. Sure enough, it was the concern thanks to my clever little prank. My parents were a little bit annoyed, but they always appreciated a nice prank. So long as it wasn’t something destructive or over the top, it was tolerated. I’m already planning something coming up for next March Fools morning and I believe that they will be bracing themselves for what I come up with. I want to raise the bar a little bit and truly provide them something to be shocked about. I might create a smelly situation with the air duct system or something.
