My kids were so let down the other month when I had to cancel our trip to the amusement park.
I felt bad, but I had no choice.
You see on this same day our central heating and air conditioning system broke down and we had to call the local heat and a/c company to send out a really high quality heat and a/c specialist to repair it. Because of this factor, we had to wait at home all day for the heating and air conditioning specialist to arrive. And it was going to be over one hundred degrees outside the following day, so we could not wait until then and have no central air conditioning in the house. It was best to get it taken care of on the mild beautiful day we were having where the central air conditioning was not needed. This was the other bummer, that it was a perfect day to go to the outdoor amusement park or any kind of outdoor activity and we had to cancel. I did end up making it up to my kids and took them on another day when the outside temperatures were not so extreme. But the heating and air conditioning system repair did cost a bit of money. There were so many things wrong with it that caused it to stop fully working, it was a miracle that they didn’t tell me I had no choice but to invest in a brand new and totally up to date central heat and a/c unit. Thankfully, that didn’t happen though.
