So I went with everyone’s advice, and I bought a HEPA filter
I live in a very big family. There’s me, my wife and 4 kids. With a total of 6 people plus 2 pets, we are a pretty big family. With 6 people and 2 pets, there is also a ton of hair and germs around. Because of this, I am always on top of changing out the air filters. It’s amazing how having so many people and pets can make it where you have to change out the A/C filter every 2 weeks. When my wife and I were still dating, and we were living together, I could easily wait to change my HVAC filter until half a year passed. It might have been kind of long to wait, but our air didn’t really get dirty. Now it seems like one of the main things I buy nowadays is big boxes of air filters so I can continually change them out in the A/C unit. Recently I switched out my old air conditioning filters, for HEPA filters. I have heard nothing but great reviews about these. Everyone who bought one told me they are never going back to regular filters, that these truly are the best. So I went with everyone’s advice, and I bought a HEPA filter. Something else that I have already decided that I am going to buy, is a whole home media air purifier. I’m sure with a family of 6 plus 2 pets, the air is going to be gross, even if I try to change the HVAC filters out as much as possible. I already have the HEPA filter, and now I am waiting to have a HVAC professional come and install the whole home media air cleaner in my heating and cooling system next week.
