My very first date with my wife was at a drive in movie theater. I remember being so nervous about sitting next to a pretty girl I didn’t even look at the movie once. She always asks me about that movie, making me guess which one it was, but she knows I will never remember. I have a tremendous love for going to the drive in theater, it’s too bad they are so hard to find. I read in the newspaper how a town about 45 minutes away from here was opening up a new drive in, and I thought it would be a nice surprise to take my wife there on a date! My car is in good shape but I wasn’t sure about the air conditioner being able to stay on for such a prolonged period of time. Just to be on the safe side I let the AC system rest on the way there, and I just drove with the windows down. It was a very nice night, now that the sun was going down, and we found that we didn’t miss the AC that much at all. The movie was not very good, but it didn’t really matter we were just having a great time and the AC seemed to be working just fine. I don’t want to get too graphic, but the air conditioner ended up breaking when the wife and I were in the back seat making a little magic. We were not worried about the AC at all by that point, but 30 minutes later the whole car was fogged over and steamy.
