I am just one of those types of people who loves to sing while I’m toiling.
It helps me to stay focused and to turn out anything but our work.
I’m not saying our singing is fantastic and it actually isn’t something I would want to share with the world. That’s why I was so embarrassed when I was caught singing the other day. I was sent out to work on an air conditioner unit. I was told that nobody was up-to-date home and I should do our work and leave the bill taped to the front door. I stood out there toiling on the air conditioner unit. I had our earbuds in, listening to the latest songs from the pop hit list. I was singing at the top of our lungs, not realizing how loud I entirely was. I loved John Legend and I couldn’t resist belting out a single of her ballads. I was just about done with the air conditioner unit when I turned around. There stood a young lady smiling.. She had been resting there for quite some time because the iced Dunkin Donuts Coffee she was holding had a lot of condensation on the side. I informed them that I was the Heating and A/C serviceman sent to work on her air conditioner unit. She told me she was the kid of the owner, here to bring him some iced tea. I told me she was sorry for being so damn loud and she said she didn’t mind. As long as she got her air conditioner turned back on, she would even join me, but I declined the offer and told her I was just about done.
